One of our custom Coveneant Collection headpieces made the explore page of Instagram. We are having a proud social media moment......
Free People held a open call for Photographers, Stylists & Models this spring. My stunning team immediately was inspired by the thought and joined together for this opportunity! Taking place at the Takk House in Troy, NY the shoot began to beautifully morph into our vision.
We are thrilled to let the cat out of the bag....our Gypsy Blur look was published in the April Issue of Jute Fashion Magazine. This month was the magazines first double issue. We are please to be adorning the pages (66-71) of this kick butt publication. Check out the digital version of the issue or order your own edition.
Our lengthy project with the WEXT calendar & Julia Zave Photography is finally in our hands. We are so thrilled to have this baby hanging in the studio. With months of planning side by side with Julia Zave, the project developer & photographer we can proudly share our hard work. Working with twelve different bands & artist can call for a lot of prep time & finagling schedules. Starting shooting in September & ending in November calls for us to put our feet up a relax....While we were busy relaxing the calendar was off to the press. With a mention in the Times Union about the upcoming release of the calendar. We were all patiently awaiting the arrival of this goody. Pick up your copy today.
Thank you Sam for sharing our design as apart of your intimate family photos. We look foward to seeing photos of the new little one!
October has been a creative venture outside the studio and behind the scenes on set. Julia Zave of Julia Zave Photography approached me to join her crew for a close to heart project for her. The project is a 12 month calender for WEXT 97.7 with a mixture of local based artists & bands. Here is the behind the scenes scoop on which artist are in the calender....
Shoot No.1- Molly Durnin
The Photog Julia Zave setting light for the Tree House (yes I said TREE HOUSE).
Shoot No.2- Eastbound Jesus
Imagine an ambandoned railyard in the depths of Western New York. Five lovely rugged men not afraid to rock the work mans look.
Shoot No.3- Maryleigh Roohan
Stylist color concoction for a quirky projection image shoot. This one is packed with objective color.
Shoot No.4- Mike Poulopoulos
In celebration of his new album release, Harvest The Heart. Mike decided to share his first tattoo experience with us and the world. Choosing his album cover image as his first tatt. The image was initially created by Nick Reinhart of Miss Dixie's Tattoo & Pin-up Parlour just for the album cover, then Mike decided to lay that image into his pores.
Our hearts are melting with anticipation to share the photos of the 'Love Revolutionized' shoot. Sarah Smith of Sarah Smith Photography gave us a first peek into the results of this kick butt collaboration.
Ready to be left with wanting more..........

The past few weeks we were busy preparing for the 'Love Revolutionized' photo shoot. Tiane Novati was approached by one of our most admired photographers Sarah Smith of Sarah Smith Photography. Sarah had conceived this vision of representing the rise & fall of Troy, NY's textile industry in the Industrial Revolution. With a creative focus & use of textiles with a romantic edge. Collaborating with Angela's Bridal in Albany for the use of seven (out of this world) designer wedding dresses, we were busy at work making couture accessories specifically for each beauty.
In November of 2011 Tiane Novati decided it was time for a fresh look. We approached our dear friend Rebecca of The Pink Orange with this task. Giving her a few details into the working of my re-branding vision, she began to create. The lovely, amazing & talented paper designer presented us with this new defining logo...
If this logo doesn't steal your heart then just check out how this beauty translates onto paper.
Holy God if you are still sitting on your seat & haven't fallen off, here is the run down of the printed details. Navy letterpress is deeply anchored into the double thick Kraft card stock & enhanced with copper foil. We can forget to mention these corner cutter wonders are a whopping 3.5' square! They are an accessory in themselves & are so deeply in love with them, thank you Rebecca!
